grits of your choice (i prefer aunt jemima quick grits)

1/2 package (8 ounces) Philadelphia cream cheese 

I do not like the consistency that is in normal grits. By adding cream cheese, the texture of the grits changes completely, and it because super creamy.

total: app. 10 minutes  


1. FOLLOW the directions listed on the grits label

2. ADD cream cheese to the pot when all ingredients are added and stir. Grits will turn white

3. WHEN all the cream cheese has been melted into the girts, they are ready to eat. 


4. SERVINGS per cream cheese  

 1-2 servings: 5 tablespoons

 3-4 servings: 1/2 package 

 4-8 servings: 1 package
